Facebook Messenger Not A Choice Anymore
Some time ago the users were not satisfied with the decision made by Facebook to remove the integration with its Messenger because it meant that people had to either install the Messenger app separately or use the mobile browser. But, now it seems that those who prefer using their browsers will lose this opportunity.
A new change for the users of Facebook
Currently, a lot of users get the notification explaining that they will have to download the Messenger app to exchange their messages. In the alert, the users are informed that their “conversations are moving to Messenger” and they will have to install the application if they want to continue their conversations.
If you choose to ignore the notification and go back to your dialogues, tapping on them will take you to the store where you can download Facebook Messenger. At the moment, it is still possible to dismiss the message and return to your dialogues on the browser, but it is likely that you won’t be able to use this option quite soon. There is no doubt that the goal of Facebook is to turn the users from the browser and to the app.
This change is only natural for Facebook that is currently in control of two of the most widely used messaging apps (Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp) and is interested in their monetization. As you may remember, Facebook will soon introduce the ads to Messenger, and having all the users in the app is certainly more favorable for the company.
