Navigation Bubbles Added To Google Maps

Navigation Bubbles Added To Google Maps on The Apps Depot Blog

The feature that previously can only be accessed by a limited number of fortunate users is now becoming available to the general public.

Google Maps v9 that you can download from The Apps Depot has an excellent feature that helps you see the turns as well as the names of the streets and exists while the navigation mode is enabled.

The users are notified about the upcoming changes of the direction with the help of blue bubbles that hover over the turns.

How can you use the feature?

The first step is, of course, to update your Google Maps to the latest version. Then you have to activate navigation mode and follow the driving instructions while tapping the blue arrow on the screen.

When you get to your first exit or turn, you will be able to see a bubble stating the name of the street or exit details, and an arrow will guide you in the needed direction.

While it may not seem like a drastic change, it is certainly a neat feature because you don’t have to check the turns at the top of your display while the street names are written on the map.

Such additions ensure that the drivers don’t get too distracted by their device and forget to look at the road ahead. There is no doubt that limiting the time you have to look at the screen to feel confident that you’re moving towards your destination is always a good idea.
